This might be the most important information you read about how to prevent illness as well as care for yourself if you do get sick.

COVID-19 

Please take the time to read this –  it maybe the most import information you read at this point in time. I have spent many  hours researching this week for prevention and treatment of COVID-19.      

Chinese Medicine has had over 320 large epidemics  over the last 2,000 years. That’s one epidemic every 5 to 6 years. This history is important for you to understand so you can trust that there is already a system for treatment in place. 

Let me share some  of the most important information I have come across and you should know at this time to prevent  you, your family, and your friends from becoming sick.

You know by now that you may have COVID-19 and not show any symptoms. For this reason you should start these protocols below NOW. Incubation of the virus is 4-5 days with the possibility of up to 14 days, which is the reason for the 2 week quarantine.Your first signs and symptoms are VERY generic so you will not be able to tell what you have immediately. It may be a cold, influenza, or COVID-19. You do not want to wait to find out. 70% of us will be exposed so the first step is prevention!

Prevention means to keep healthy people healthy. Assuming most will be infected you want a strong immune system (no dairy, alcohol, smoking especially right now).

Prevention is better than nothing at all. 

Phase One Protocol

You must start oral Vit. C immediately. Purchase a bulk bottle of 1000mg Capsules. It appears from the information my colleagues are sharing that those who took Vit. C in China have no mortality and their hospital stay was 3 to 5 days shorter. Shorter stay means more beds for others.

 Vit. C  – approximately 5000mg a day for preventative measures (this is bowel tolerance so expect loose stools).  

Vitamin D – 5000 IU per day

Magnesium – 400 milligrams per day, helps to relax and calm

 

Zinc – 30 mg per day / or liquid zinc 1 dropper full in water 1x per day. A great immune boosting supplement. I found my favorite brand Econ on iherb.com

Oscillococcinum- a homeopathic remedy for Flu.  We recommended taking a fraction of the dosage as a preventative.  Take only 3 of the Tiny white pellets per day (rather than the entire vial as suggested).  If you feel symptoms, take the full dosage.

Probiotics

CBD Tincture – a dropper full  helps with anxiety.

Phase Two Protocol

We have ordered the TCM Herbal formula which  is PART TWO  of your protocol. If you get to the point of signs and symptoms of low fever, tickle in throat, aversion to cold (feel the wind and air more), chills, headache, sore muscles, no sweat or night sweats it is time to be on a different formula which we also have in a very small quantity.

How does this work?  This formula works by opening up blood vessels. More blood flows to affected area, more hydration, more white blood cells to upper respiratory tract to fight the virus better. It opens up severe nasal constriction and hydrates mucous membranes to trap initial viruses. Again, call us and we can put you on the list to get this to you when the inventory arrives in a few days.

Phase Three Protocol

The next phase is fever, aversion to cold, sore throat, painful muscles, weakness and headache. At this point your CT Scan would show lungs with ground- glass opacity (GGO). 

The Herbal Formula for this Phase is different. These Herbs  stimulate the immune system and are antiviral. They are able to suppress hyper inflammatory response which can be very severe. They have been used successfully to inhibit the enzyme activity of SARS and they destroy Influenza, and HIV and Acyclovir resistant HSV, H1N1, Herpes and Epstein-Barr.  These herbs bind to the spikes on the virus and prevent it from binding into the lung receptors and entering into the host cells where the virus replicates. 

Common Sense

  • Get good sleep, and prioritize your self-care. Sleep is critical to optimal immune function. If you are sleep-deprived, you are not at your peak immunity. 
  • Eat nutrient-rich foods, and prioritize a healthy diet. Your diet provides building blocks used by your immune system to fight illness. Without those resources, your immune system will be weaker. 
  • Stay hydrated. Water is at the foundation of our health. Clean/filtered water consumed regularly helps keep our whole system functioning optimally, including our immune systems. 
  • Take precautions and prepare, but stay calm. An outbreak can be unsettling, but most people will experience COVID-19 as a mild illness. Prolonged stress inhibits immune function, so whether it is fear about the virus or excess stress at home or work, do what you can to give your system a break and restore. Exercise, self-acupressure, nutritional and herbal supplements recommended by your healthcare practitioner, qigong/tai chi, yoga, meditation, or whatever your “go-to” to unwind must take priority now. These are not luxuries! Take care of yourself.
